Easy Recipe

Just 5 Ingredients .

  • Flour – 4 cups to start with and then add one third cup towards the end of the kneading proccess.
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Warm water – 2 cups
  • butter – A quarter of a bar
  • Fast action Yeast-2 sachets

Measure the dry Ingredients directly into the mixer. I have placed quick links to shop most of the Ingredients below.

Add warm water and knead for 10 minutes
Melt Butter for 30 seconds and add, continue kneading for another 5 minutes.
Make sure the dough is not sticky, it should be stretchy.

Transfer dough to work surface and knead gently for 1 minute.

Transfer into a buttered bowl.

Cover with cling film and a damp Tea towel and keep in a warm place for an hour.

Bring out after an hour and punch air out.

Divide into desired shapes.

Brush the top of the dough generously with melted butter, then cover again with cling film and a warm tea towel for another one hour. After the second Proof, bake in a Pre heated Oven for 20 mins for Bread rolls , if it is a loaf shape, bake for 45 mins.
