When it comes to gifting, I like to think of quality over quantity, this does not mean it has to empty my Bank account, it just has to be something thoughtful that would meet the needs of the receiver for a long time.

Gifting can be a daunting task especially if you have no idea of what the person likes or needs at that very moment.

My Gifting guide is to stick to items that can be utilised by anyone or worst case scenario, passed on to another member of the family, you might call it playing it safe.

Generic gifts life Gift cards and vouchers are also great ways to gift while leaving control to the recipient. Cash gifts on the other hand can meet immediate needs but does not show any thoughts, so while some will happily receive cash, it is easily forgotten, if you must give cash, then it is best to give it as an add on to a little gift.
